Jermaine Jackson made headlines earlier this week, when he hinted that the original members of the Jackson 5 were ready for a comeback album and tour.
Alas, Michael Jackson quickly debunked the reunion talk.
“My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we’ve certainly shared many great experiences,” the King of Pop said in a statement released by his rep, identified as “Dr. Tohme.” “But at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them.”

Gwyneth Paltrow’s health-conscious lifestyle and eating habits can be traced back to a phone call a decade ago that, she says, “changed my life.”
In a new GOOP newsletter, the actress writes that, while filming The Talented Mr. Ripley in Italy in 1998, she learned her father had been diagnosed with throat cancer.
“I watched his health deteriorate slowly until his death in 2002,” Paltrow, 36, says of her director dad, Bruce. “During this time I began to read about Eastern medicine and the body’s capacity to heal itself.”
Paltrow, who was known for following her own strict diet, encouraged her dad to follow in her healthy footsteps. While he embraced acupuncture, he “hated macrobiotic food,” she says, “which he likened to ‘biting into The New York Times.’”

To hear Sarah Palin tell it, she is the last person yearning to be on the best-dressed list.
The Republican vice presidential nominee tells Entertainment Tonight that the controversy over the GOP spending $150,000 on her campaign wardrobe is “absolutely ridiculous.”
In a two-part interview with ET’s Mary Hart airing Thursday and Friday, Palin says “There is a kind of this double-standard that’s going on. I don’t hear the guys being talked about their wardrobe.”

Two months after giving birth, Gwen Stefani is showing off her newest bundle of joy: Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale.
The singer, who was spotted with the newborn at a Beverly Hills library on Wednesday, posed with son Zuma in a photo taken by her father, Dennis, and posted on No Doubt’s Web site.
“Gwen, Gavin, Kingston and Zuma are all doing well and enjoying being a party of four,” reads a message accompanying the photo.

Dancing’s Maksim Denies Criticizing Cheryl Burke’s Weight
Maksim Chmerkovskiy has denied criticizing Dancing With the Stars pros Cheryl Burke and Lacey Schwimmer over their weight, telling PEOPLE his reported comments were “taken completely out of context.”
“I am outspoken but I do not discriminate how people look,” Chmerkovskiy, 28, says. “That’s the great thing about ballroom – unlike jazz and ballet – it doesn’t discriminate. People of all shapes and sizes and levels of ability can take part in ballroom dancing.”
He says he had been commenting generally about “how excess weight on the body takes its toll on the joints, the lower back,” he explains. Schwimmer put on weight after an extensive recuperation period following knee surgery last year. Burke told PEOPLE last month she gained a few pounds over the summer, the result of not dancing every day.
“I never criticized Cheryl or Lacey,” Chmerkovskiy says.
He has since been slammed by fans, receiving email messages “telling me to go back to my country,” he says, noting that he has spoken with Burke and has reached out to Schwimmer. “We’re fine. I’m dancing with Cheryl next week.”
What he’s most concerned about is how all of this is affecting people who want to dance.
“I am a big promoter of being healthy and physical activity, but in my business, I do not condemn how people look,” he says. “It’s sad how all of this got spun.”

Jennifer Hudson’s family announced Thursday a new foundation for families of murder victims.
The Hudson-King Foundation for Families of Slain Victims is named in honor of the singer-actress’s slain mother Darnell Hudson Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King.
“The specific purpose of the Foundation is to care for the needs of families who have lost relatives to a violent crime,” the family says in a statement. “This encompasses their basic needs of food, clothing and shelter as well as grief counseling.”

British police have arrested a housekeeper for Victoria and David Beckham after treasured possessions belonging to the couple allegedly ended up on eBay.
“It has come as a terrible shock to Victoria and David,” a friend tells PEOPLE. “They have been told not to talk about it now because of legal action.”
The items allegedly include dresses belonging to Victoria and sporting memorabilia of her soccer star
husband that were stored at their 24-acre English mansion and estate. Dubbed Beckingham Palace, it is located north of London in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire.
